How much does BulkSheet cost?
Free forever includes up to 100 product saves per day in the bulk editor, resetting at midnight in your store's timezone - no credit card required, and no time limit on how long you can stay on it. Starter is $9.99/month and removes the daily save limit entirely, adding find & replace and scheduled price edits that auto-revert. Growth is $29/month and adds daily catalog readiness monitoring with AI-suggested fixes plus CSV export of a filtered segment. Pro is $79/month and adds bulk AI fixes applied across the whole catalog at once plus revertible Edit History, so a saved batch can be rolled back later, not just undone before it saves. Whichever paid plan you pick first includes a 7-day free trial on your store's first-ever upgrade from Free, so you can try the higher tier's features before Shopify starts billing. Visit /pricing for the full feature-by-feature comparison.
What counts as a “save” on the Free plan?
One save = one product written to Shopify. If you apply a bulk template or save edits across 80 products in a single batch, that counts as 80 of your 100 daily saves - so a large batch can use up the daily allowance quickly, even though it's a single action in the editor. Editing several fields on the same product (or several of its variants) in one save still counts as a single product save, not one per field or per variant changed. The counter resets at midnight in your store's timezone - not a rolling 24-hour window - and you only consume saves when you actually write to Shopify: filtering, previewing, and staging edits in the grid are all free and don't count against the limit. All paid plans (Starter and up) remove the daily limit entirely, so this counter only ever applies while you're on Free.
Do you offer a free trial?
The Free plan is free forever with no credit card required - it is not a time-limited trial, and 100 product saves per day is enough for most merchants to fully evaluate the editor. Whichever paid plan you pick first - Starter, Growth, or Pro - includes a 7-day free trial, but only once per store: it's granted the first time you ever upgrade from Free, not once per plan. If you've already had any paid BulkSheet subscription in the past, even a different tier you later cancelled, a new upgrade is billed immediately with no trial. The trial runs through Shopify's own billing system, the same place that handles the subscription afterward, so there's no separate signup. After the 7 days, Shopify bills the monthly plan price automatically unless you cancel the subscription or move back to Free from Settings → Billing before the trial ends.
How do I upgrade from Free to a paid plan?
Open BulkSheet → Settings → Billing and pick a plan from the plan cards, right inside BulkSheet's own interface. BulkSheet creates the subscription through Shopify's Billing API, then hands you off to Shopify's confirmation screen to approve the charge - so it's billed and receipted through your normal Shopify invoice, with no separate payment method to enter. If this is your store's first-ever paid upgrade from Free, BulkSheet automatically requests a 7-day free trial as part of that subscription, so you won't be billed until the trial ends; see "Do you offer a free trial?" below for when that applies. Approve the charge on Shopify's screen and your subscription syncs back to BulkSheet within a few seconds, unlocking the plan's features - unlimited saves, find & replace, scheduled edits, or AI catalog monitoring, depending on the plan - without needing to refresh or reinstall the app.
Can I downgrade or change plans?
Yes. Change plans anytime from Settings → Billing inside BulkSheet - the same plan cards used to upgrade. Moving between two paid tiers (say Pro to Growth) takes effect immediately: Shopify automatically credits the unused portion of your old plan toward the new one, and BulkSheet's feature access switches over as soon as the new subscription is active, so you're never paying the old price while limited to the new tier's features. Cancelling to Free also takes effect immediately, and Shopify separately refunds - credits back - the unused portion of the current billing period, rather than charging you for time you didn't use. Either way, BulkSheet doesn't delete anything: your store simply becomes Free again (100 product saves per day, in-session undo, 5 metafield columns) rather than losing access to the app, and plan changes usually reflect in the app within a few seconds of Shopify confirming the update. There's no lock-in period or cancellation fee for switching plans in either direction - the one thing to know is that switching plans during a free trial ends the trial early and starts billing the new plan immediately.
