To bulk update Shopify inventory with BulkSheet, open the bulk editor and filter the grid to the products you want, for example out of stock (0), low stock (1 to 10) or one vendor. Select the rows and choose a set inventory or increase/decrease inventory template, pick the location it applies to, and review the preview of old and new quantities. For one variant, click its inventory total to edit the quantity at each stocked location. You can also import a supplier stock CSV for a location you pick. Nothing is written to Shopify until you press Save, and the change can be undone, including for 15 minutes after saving on any plan. Saves of 250 or more products run in the background as Shopify bulk operations. The Free plan allows 100 product saves a day, and paid plans from $9.99 a month have no daily limit.

Stock by location, per variant
BulkSheet shows inventory as a Total inventory column across products and their variants. Click a variant's total to open its locations and edit the quantity at each one, or select many rows and apply a set or adjust template at one location - useful for a seasonal reset, a restock, or zeroing out a discontinued line.
Filter to exactly what needs updating
- Out of stock or low stock - filter by inventory level so you only touch the rows that need a restock.
- Sorted by stock - sort by total inventory, low to high or high to low, to see what runs out first or what is overstocked.
- By vendor, tag, or status - narrow to one supplier or collection, then set stock across just those products.
- Per variant - every size and color is its own row, so you set stock at the variant level, not just the product.
Load stock counts from a CSV
Import a supplier stock file or a count sheet, pick the location it applies to, and each row's quantity becomes a pending stock change for the matching variant. Nothing is written until you review and save, and the rows that didn't match are listed with the reason. Available on every plan.

Frequently asked questions
Can I update inventory at several locations at once?
Not in one run. A set or adjust inventory template, and a CSV stock import, each apply to one location that you pick; to change another location, run it again for that location. For a single variant you can edit the quantity at each of its stocked locations in one go from its inventory total.
Can I set stock to zero for a whole segment, such as a discontinued line?
Yes. Filter to the segment (by tag, vendor, status or stock level), select the rows, choose the set inventory template with a quantity of 0, pick the location and review the preview. Nothing changes in Shopify until you press Save.
Can I add to existing stock instead of replacing it?
Yes. The increase or decrease inventory template adds or subtracts a number you choose from the current quantity at the location you pick, and the preview shows each old and new quantity first.
Does changing stock use up my free daily saves?
Yes, by product. Saving stock changes counts as one product save for each product written, and the Free plan allows 100 product saves a day; paid plans have no daily limit.
What happens if stock changes in Shopify while I am editing?
Stock writes are checked against the quantity BulkSheet loaded. If a location's quantity changed in Shopify in the meantime, that change is reported instead of silently overwriting the newer number, and you can reopen the location to use the current quantity.
